Incorporating a variable-speed Inverter compressor, Daikin systems offer the capacity required to maintain the desired conditions. This technology minimizes temperature fluctuations and provides continuous cooling and heating comfort.
Generally speaking, to determine the efficiency of a heat pump, you need to look at its COP (coefficient of performance). The COP is the ratio of energy produced to energy consumed. Why is this so? Take this example: an electric baseboard heater has a COP of 1.0, since all the electricity consumed is used to produce heat. The AURORA heat pump, on the other hand, can achieve a COP of 4.56. In other words, for every 1 kW consumed, it produces 3.5 times more heat than an electric baseboard heater! So the greater the energy efficiency (COP), the lower the running costs.
